International students on mobility at U.PortoRaul Santos
The University of Porto has suspended all face-to-face academic activities, starting from 12th March 2020 until further notice. This suspension of activities also applies to all international students, including those including those under mobility programs.
To overcome this period, the faculties of U.Porto are implementing distance learning solutions that involve the application of new information technologies in order to continue teaching activities as much as possible.
Moreover, the U.Porto assures that the accommodation and food services of the University’s Social Services (SASUP) will maintain their regular activities in order to guarantee the indispensable support to all students – national and international.
Students who decide to cancel the mobility at U.Porto, returning earlier to their home country, must articulate this return with the Home Institution as soon as possible, given that this may have implications in the academic recognition initially agreed, as well as in the scholarship´s payment (if applicable).
All students must strictly follow the recommendations of the Directorate-General Health (DGS) and contact the support line for health “Saúde 24” (+351 808 24 24 24) in case of any symptoms possibly associated to the virus. Students are also required to rigorously respect the isolation periods recommended by health authorities.
The University of Porto remains entirely available for any additional clarification or support you may consider necessary as we have reinforced the online support services:
